Rodeo Man
by: Margaret Watson
4 Grady Stars
Not a night passed that Becca Johnson didn't dream about one long-ago summer and a certain wandering cowboy. She thought she'd finally made her peace with the past. The ruggedly
handsome ex-rodeo star might have taken her innocence, but now this proud woman had a child's heart to consider....
Rodeo star Grady Farrell is devastated when a gruesome leg injury ends his career. The rodeo was his life, and retirement gives him too much time to think about Becca Johnson, the woman who betrayed him. But when Grady buys a ranch in Cameron, Utah, he comes face to face with Becca again. Becca is no longer the insecure teenager Grady remembered – she's now a strong, confident woman. She's never stopped loving Grady, but she knows she can't get too close to him. Becca is hiding a huge secret – she can't let him find out that her daughter is his daughter, too. When Grady finds out the truth, will this new betrayal destroy their second chance at love?
Rodeo Man is the first book of the series, it was quite interesting and I enjoyed reading it. Love the characters they all had great chemistry.
The story is about past love reunites again by oops. Becca Johnson is Cameron veterinarian, she one day was asked to help at one of the stables, little did she know who was the new “boss” of the ranch.
Grady Farrell reappears 9 years later as the owner of the ranch. Handsome as ever, and still so in love with Becca. Now as the two of them work together, he knows Becca is keeping a secret. The truth might hurt, but will it bring them closer together? or will he forgive her for it?
Well now Becca is being stalked, by not an even a creepy ex. Secrets, suspense, mystery and romance, is there a chance of an HEA.
I loved reading it, it had me on edge on those last few chapters. The side character where all so supportive and amazing. Love the chemistry between the characters.
If you’re looking for a good romance book, with a little suspense and mystery on the side, this is it for you.
“I want you, Becca. And I want Cassie. I want us to be a family, in every sense of the word. I want you to marry me. I’m slow to catch on and I know I’m nine years too late, but I love you, Becca. Teach me how to love you the way you love me. Help me be a good father to Cassie, and, if you’re willing, to the brothers and sisters that Cassie might have.”
