First & Goal by Laura Chapman
The author gave me the opportunity to read her book so here is my honest review :D
This has been the cutest and funny story I have ever read! And I loved how easy it was to read!
I fell in love with all the characters in the book. Each had their own unique personality and I loved it!
The story is about a girl name Harper Duquaine, she was new at the city living with her brothers till she get her life back together. She was loyal to her work so she didn't have time for friends of any sort... what happens? Well her boss Anderson told her the opposite of what a normal boss has to say to their employees, "Stop working and make friends" well not exactly like that but, in other words yes.
Harper does what he says and she joins the Fantasy Football game her co-workers were talking about. Two things, she didn't know much about football, and she was the only girl, which led to some rules, set by her brother Christopher:
"Rule number one: Don't draft the kicker or defense until the last few rounds.Rule number two: Don't try to draft every player from your favorite team.My last and final rule: DON'T LET THE GUYS SEDUCE YOU INTO GIVING THEM THE BEST PLAYER"
Of course Harper wasn’t dumb to be led like that, but she has a soft heart. Which leads us to a piece of a hunk called, Brook McLaughlin. He is another member for the fantasy football; he is a history teacher and a football coach.
They became friends but felt attraction to each other, but whets going to happen when there suppose to be no dating between members of the league? How are they going to fall through it all? And what is J.J actual feeling for Harper? Any romance between Wade and Brook Sister?
Well better get ready and start reading "First & Goal" by Laura Chapman! <3
